Back To School With Kids... And Please Let It Be Fall In Austin Soon-ish

Since I'm still in full force round 'em up/make a list/clean things/get organized kind of mood this week I'm going to share a couple cute outfits for your little lovies on their first day of school.  Now I've got one four year old in a mother's day out program/preschool who refuses to wear anything that isn't all the same color, has buttons touching her skin or isn't a tank top worn with a too short skirt from two years ago (and they said color blocking and matching was new....) and an almost two year old who hates clothing altogether and is getting a feeding tube once we figure out how to get it in him without messing up his first surgical reconstruction (what matches with a feeding tube??) so I've given myself a little artistic licence in this gathering of items.  Oh yes, and did I mention we are heading into our sweatiest months of all?  Nothing goes better with hurricanes and 100 degree weather like a woolly hat and cozy romper.  But I digress.  The point is, these outfits are killer cute. So for your little boy we have a swirly hat; a Boden romper; a little toggle coat from Zara; Aiden and Anais blankets (that can also be used to sop up spilled drinks and be worn as capes) little monster socks from Hanna Anderson; a cool fox backpack (I'm hoping it's big enough for Robert's feeding tube pump) and the sweetest kicks you've ever laid eyes on.
For the girl side of this back to school equation I thought this little cap was the cutest European styled piece; the cape is pure awesomeness; this mint tee has a sparkly Eiffel Tower on it from J.Crew (people, it sparkles, no four year old can resist it's charms) the tights are Hanna Anderson (for the win) a pair of  blue chunky cord shorts from Boden and fringe boots, again from Hanna.  So there you have it.  All dressed up, ready for photos and the start of a new academic year filled with glue on eyeballs and cotton balls on card stock.   xoxo Agnes

I looove that coat! I need to find one of those for my little guy, and that fox backpack is adorable! I hope it works for Robert! And don't get me started on that girl stuff. I would buy all of that for myself, especially the Eiffel Tower shirt :)
