If I Could Vacation Anywhere...

I've been needing a vacation in a manner that can only be described as fiercely.  I've been in a pressure cooker of stress and worry since my little man first made his entrance, bless his sick heart.  I want to escape with Justin and reconnect with nature, silence and peace.  If someone handed me the tickets to an all inclusive resort, I've give them a kiss and be on my way.  But that's not what I lie awake and dream about doing at night.  So without further ado, here is what my heart desires.
1. Treehouse Point.  I just love this concept; tucked away in the swinging branches of Washington state, raindrops on the roof, so close to the heavens.  Some of these treehouses are even connected with a series of bridges and walkways.  This gallery will give you a pretty good idea of what I'm talking about.

2. A peaceful getaway in little restored vintage trailers by the ocean in Big Sur, California. Did I mention it was a restored vintage trailer by the ocean in Big Sur? I mean, c'mon people.

 3. Since this is my fantasy vacation, I am entitled to put whatever I so please in it and it so pleases me to put this absurdly expensive, utterly fabulous Turkey Private Yacht Charter inside. And inside my fantasy, I'd also be able to tan and wouldn't have motion sickness, so it's kind of a win, win, win.
4. Lastly, I can just see it now; blankets, spiked hot chocolate and the two of us, watching the Northern Lights in our own little igloo in Finland.  You will find these amazing feats of architectural wonder in the Hotel Resort Kakslauttanen, somewhere between here and the Arctic Circle, I'm a little fuzzy on the geography of it all.  So would you stay in any of these spots?   xoxo Agnes

Wow, that treehouse is amazing. I love the vintage camping trailers too. I'd love to own one some day and park it wherever my heart desired.

Your creativity has no limits, my friend. I want to go on ALL the vacations you have picked. If I HAD to pick just one, it would be the vintage trailers in Cali (a close second would be the yachts in Turkey though!). I kinda hate international travel and would have a choice to fly or drive (prefer to drive). When I get rich, I will hire you to decorate my home and plan my vacations. ;)

I grew up in the Arctic so I'll pass on the igloow but I'd gladly live in a treehouse! swiss family robinson!! :D

These are all fabulous choices! If I had to choose I may get stuck between the first two. Like you, I would be able to get a tan in my fantasy. Right now I have to count on my growing number of freckles to make it appear that I'm not pasty white.
